Phillippi Creek Levee Trail

This morning I biked the Phillippi Creek Levee Trail. I probably bike this trail five/six times a year. Today the trail was bare. There was hardly even a weed or vine around. The County must have cleaned up.

The only wildlife I was was one turtle and a few ducks. I am sure there was much more hidden from the eye.
About every winter I look at this huge tree and think it died. But come Spring and it gets life again, abundant life. The Resurrection Ferns lay on the limbs waiting for the first rains to turn green and lush.
The Pond
The Mango Tree looks alive and well.
