Summer Storm

This afternoon we had a real tropical summer storm. It didn’t last long but it made good use of its time. It came storming through Pinecraft, raining in white sheets, wind blowing, a few little balls of hail and lightening struck Erma’s Live Oak Tree across the street.

On at least three sides of the tree small pieces of bark was ripped off.
It looks like the lightening came down between the fork of the tree. I don’t know how lightening work but I saw the bolt in front of my house. For a few minutes I didn’t have Internet connections.
After the rain there was still enough time to take a quick bike ride. At the Pinecraft Park.
The Retaining Pond has water.
Port-a-John got tipped.
